Where did my run go?

Runs autosave after every move, on your device. If a run is missing, make sure the app wasn’t deleted and reinstalled — saves live only on the device itself.

The board has no pairs left. Is the run dead?

No — that is what reshuffles are for. A reshuffle re-deals the remaining tiles into an arrangement that can still be cleared, and every board is generated solvable to begin with. You only lose a run when the score target goes unmet.

Why won’t two matching tiles match?

A tile can only be taken when it is free: nothing stacked on top of it, and at least one of its left or right sides open. Flowers match any flower and seasons match any season; everything else matches only its exact twin.

Are there in-app purchases or ads?

No, and there never will be. You paid once; everything in the game is earned by playing.

Does the game need the internet?

No. Pagoda is fully offline. It makes no network connections at all.

How do paths and difficulties unlock?

By the furthest board you have ever reached, and by winning runs. The run setup screen shows each condition.
